Shree Saurashtra Leuva Patel Samaj Charitable Trust (Bopal)

In our society residing in Saurashtra, when members used to come to Ahmedabad for studies, they didn’t have any accommodation facilities, they couldn’t afford to study, the major concern for them was accommodation, so with the thought that these members should get facilities and progress in their studies, a hostel was organized.

For this, it was necessary to form a trust, acquire land, and also require financial contributions. At times, it’s not possible to manage everything alone.

Capable donors were approached for donations to establish the trust, and the trust registration certificate was obtained in the year 2005 by filing with the government.

In 2006, donors received donations, and in the year 2006, 10 bigha land was purchased, which is worth 25000 times.

For the construction of the community hall, this work was started by keeping small-scale workers in mind, along with this, 16 weddings were also organized, in which political dignitaries, community leaders, elders, and officials were also present, even during the pandemic like Corona, service activities have been carried out.

On 10/6/2017, the foundation stone of our organization’s land was laid. In which Dilipdas Maharaj, the head of Jagannath Temple, and Shri Manjidada, the chief trustee of Bagdana Temple were also present.

The construction work of the hostel being completed, on 6/5/2023, the inauguration was done by Honorable Chief Minister Bupendrabhai Patel, and for the academic session 2023-24, admissions were started from June 2023, in the first year, 1065 members have been admitted, who have benefited from this institution.

For members coming from rural areas and unable to reside in Ahmedabad, such members can get higher education by residing in our hostel, and bring good names to their families and society, and make their careers bright, this is the main objective of this society.

In developing cities, with increasing vehicles, and problems of parking, small individuals cannot have social gatherings at their homes. For this reason, the construction of a marriage hall, auditorium, is in progress, and also planning to establish such a hostel for the daughters of the society.
